Child Of Mine

Child of mine:
You are no accident. Your mother and I loved you before we knew you. You haven't come into the world or even been conceived yet, but I am looking forward to the day that I get to meet you. I don't care if you turn out to be a boy or a girl. I just want to start this relationship with you. There are obstacles between us for now, mostly time, but I can see each one falling before us. Child of mine, I'm headed your way, so start your journey towards me.

What to expect here

Hi, my name is Bryan, and sometimes I write things. Lately it seems that sometimes is closer to never than always. I don't promise to update this blog even remotely regularly. I am mostly giving blogging another go because of the possibility that iWeb might not be supported in a year or so, meaning my website in its current iteration will cease to exist. I have maintained a presence at BryanKoch.com for almost a decade now, which I do in the hopes that old friends can reconnect easily and new friends can learn more about whatever crazy thing it is I am currently involved in.
As for what sort of things I think will be posted here, crappy pretentious poetry goes without saying. When I'm not boring you with that, I also hope to write letters to my future children, which I only thought of because I intend to do that next, and which might not ever happen again after that entry. My life tends to be pretty interesting, but I'll probably present it here in a rather boring way.
I considered writing an entry to catch people up from where my other blog left off, but I think those holes will fill themselves in by seeing where my life is now. I'm happily married, and we recently sold our first house to move into a tiny apartment near campus. We love it.
